Glenn has been an executive coach for 25 years.   He brings his clients more than 30 years of diversified leadership, coaching, and consulting experience with proven results driving organizational change.

Glenn’s strong P&L orientation focuses on the executives’ agenda as well as their development to ensure their growth links to the top and bottom lines. His strengths are developing a trusting relationship, bringing perspective to tough issues, and creating concrete next steps. He has been trained as a counselor, trained as a coach, and has run an entire organization with full P&L accountability.

These traits enable him to be the confidential trusted advisor, sounding board, and coach to a large number of executives where he balances support with challenge. He helps his clients master the essential leadership, management, and interpersonal capabilities critical for their current role as well as their next position.

As an interim assignment, he took a hands-on role leading a customer contact center as VP/GM with full P&L responsibility. This was during a post-merger integration phase and involved successfully resolving significant business issues including retention, service quality, morale, and profitability. In this role, Glenn managed 225 employees, coached senior executives, and satisfied over 900 corporate clients, including Toys-R-Us, Pitney Bowes, Pratt & Whitney, and Bon Appetit. Through key strategic initiatives he transformed this highly entrepreneurial organization into a corporate site, increasing Gross Margin and EBITDA, and enabling his CEO client to exceed his acquisition buy-out goal 30%.

Glenn is a certified Leadership Circle Coach, and a certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach.  He earned his Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, MN and his Bachelor’s in Psychology from Rutgers University. He is a trained and certified coach by both Right Management and Lee Hecht Harrison.  He is certified in the use of the Leadership Circle Profile, Collective Leadership Assessment, Leadership System, and has advanced interpretative certification in the Hogan suite of assessments.  He is additionally certified in the MBTI, OPQ, SOI, and in 360-degree instruments from CCL, Lominger, MRG, and The Hay Group (ESCI), and is a Hewlett-Packard Certified Technical Professional for UNIX and Networking. He is an ex-Chapter Board member and presenter for the Association for Psychological Type, and holds membership in the Bay Area Executive Development Network, SHRM, ICF, and the Genentech Coaching Network.

Glenn lives on a small farm in rural Sonoma County with his wife Anne Marie, 2 dogs, 2 farm kittens, a gentle steer, 6 sheep, cute lambs, an annoyingly adorable goat, and too many chickens.  He and his wife enjoy ultralight wilderness backpacking, travel, hiking, yoga, working on their farm, and enjoying really good homemade food and cocktails.

He is passionately into speed - achieved through windsurfing, mountain biking, motorcycling, and driving a very old Datsun or too fast Porsche.  To slow down, he takes out his old diesel tractor or pets the gentle steer or sheep.  They celebrate Spring with baby lambs, piglets, chicks, with potatoes, garlic, greens and onions in the garden.  Life is good.
